Ann Arbor, MI – The Center for Information Management, Inc., an Ann Arbor, MI-based provider of information systems and services for organizations caring for older adults and persons with disabilities, has responded to several requests to provide hosted support for the computation of a wide range of critical outcomes measures based on the assessment instruments published by interRAI, Inc. (a collaborative network of researchers in over 20 countries committed to improving health care for persons who are elderly, frail, or disabled – interRAI; www.interrai.org).
These new cutting-edge web services from CIM Inc. allow managed care and other health care organizations, who desire to take advantage of the power of interRAI instruments to positively impact care planning and program management, to adapt in-house systems to collect interRAI assessments, but to avoid the high cost of programming the complex algorithms needed to produce the gamut of interRAI outcome measures. Data from completed assessment can be submitted to CIM Inc.’s computational server, which immediately returns the full array of interRAI outcomes (9 Scales, 27 Clinical Assessment Protocols (CAPs) and Resource Utilization Group (RUG) category and group score).
CIM Inc. has worked with interRAI assessment tools and outcome measures since 1998 and has developed a robust set of output capabilities for their various assessment tools.
